Mechanical liquid separator valves

We offer two different mechanical, but automatically operating float-type liquid separator valves.

Mechanical, yet automatically operating valves are also energy-efficient, as they only discharge liquid from the system when the condensate level rises, without any loss of compressed air.

One of these is the so-called externally mounted mechanical liquid discharge valve. These are primarily installed on cyclone separators and line filters (where there is no internal float), but they can also be mounted under tanks, in air dryers, and on various other compressed air systems where automatic liquid discharge is required. The main advantage of this liquid separator is its high flow capacity, which can reach up to 250L/h.

The other mechanical floats are designed for internal installation in compressed air systems, where there is not enough space for an external float (e.g., floor-level installations). They are mostly installed inside the body of line filters and cyclone separators. Of course, these valves can also be used in all other similar solutions where internal installation in the compressed air system is possible.

The advantage of mechanical liquid discharge valves is that they do not require a separate power supply or electrical wiring for operation, are maintenance-free, and have no wear parts.
