Water separators / Cyclone separators

The ASA series water separators are designed for first-stage condensate separation in compressed air systems.

The ASA series water separator removes most of the condensate water that has accumulated in the compressed air pipeline. However, the compressed air exiting the water separator will still contain some moisture. To completely remove the moisture, a compressed air dryer is required.

The initial condensate separation from the compressed air system provides many benefits:

  • Helps ensure better performance of the air dryer by separating the direct condensate liquid in advance.
  • Protects the air dryers from clogging, deposits, and corrosion.
  • Protects filter elements from breakage.
  • Protects air pipelines from corrosion and deposits.
  • Helps protect pneumatic tools and valves from mechanical failures.
  • Helps prevent freezing of the compressed air system.

The water separators use the so-called cyclone effect and have no moving parts, which eliminates the risk of mechanical wear on the structural elements.
